Titan saves a score for every day, then keeps recalculating recent days as new data and settings arrive. Each cause below says what happened and what you can do. Settings is reached from the avatar on Today, then You > Settings.

01Late data from Apple Health

Every Today refresh re-reads the last 7 days of Health data and recalculates 60 days of Recovery, Stress, Sleep, Exertion, Training Load and Sleep Debt. A workout or night of sleep that syncs late changes its day. No action is needed.

02Your baseline moved

That 60-day pass scores every past Recovery against the baseline window that ends today. As new days enter the window, older scores shift. Sleep does the same with its respiratory rate and blood oxygen baselines.

03You changed a setting

These settings recalculate history when you change them. Set one back to reverse it.

  • The four toggles in Settings > Recovery & Sleep > Recovery Preferences rebuild 60 days of Recovery, Stress, Sleep and Battery.
  • Battery Preferences rebuild 60 days of Battery.
  • Sleep Goal and Sleep Debt Threshold rescore 60 days of Sleep and Sleep Debt.
  • Use Custom Max Heart Rate and Heart Rate Zones, in Settings > Training & Heart Rate, rebuild Exertion and Training Load for 60 to 180 days, set by Number of Workouts.

Today scores a night against your Sleep Goal, 8 hours by default. Trends rescores sleep history against the Sleep Debt Threshold, 7.5 hours by default. A past night's score depends on which screen ran last. Set both to the same value, Sleep Goal under You > Your Profile > Daily Targets and the threshold under Settings > Recovery & Sleep > Sleep Preferences.

05Morning Recovery changed after noon

Today's Recovery can come from a Mindfulness session before noon. After noon Titan stops checking Mindfulness HRV and moves to sleep HRV. Turn on Enable Titan to Save Resting Heart Rates to freeze today's Recovery once saved, or Ignore Mindfulness App HRV to use sleep HRV all day.

06You cleared a cache or ran a resync

The actions at Settings > Health & Connected Apps > Resync & Troubleshooting recalculate history from current Health data and settings. The rebuild covers 60 to 180 days, set by Number of Workouts, and older days stay empty. Raise Number of Workouts first to keep more history. See resync and history.

07An app update changed a score

Each score carries a calculation version. When an update changes the math, Titan recalculates saved values from the old version.

08Titan Age history moved

Titan rebuilds 52 weeks of Titan Age from saved daily data when a week closes or when data inside a closed week changes. A new Titan Age model recalculates every past week. Each week blends with the one before, so one changed week can move later weeks. Changes in the current week do not move it.
