Titan ships with 15 system tags, and you can add your own for anything they miss, such as a supplement or a training variable. This article covers how to add, edit, and delete a custom tag, what Delete All Tags erases, and what the auto-tag toggles in Settings do today.
01Opening the Tags screen
Open the Journal and tap + Add/Edit at the bottom of the screen. The Tags screen lists the System Tags first, then your Custom Tags, then the Auto Tags toggles, then a Delete All Tags button. System tags carry a "System" label and cannot be edited or removed.
02Adding a custom tag
- Tap Add next to the Custom Tags heading.
- Type a name in the Name field.
- Pick an icon from the grid of 23 symbols. The default is a plain tag icon.
- Tap Save.
Save stays disabled until the name has at least one character. Titan trims spaces from the start and end of the name. Custom tags appear in alphabetical order, and they show up on the Journal next to the system tags. Journal Insights measures them the same way it measures system tags.
03Editing a custom tag
Tap the pencil next to a custom tag to change its name or icon. Titan keeps each tag's history under a fixed ID, so a rename carries every past entry over to the new name.
04Deleting a custom tag
Tap the trash icon next to a custom tag and confirm Delete. Titan removes the tag and deletes every past entry that used it, on every date. The tag also drops out of Journal Insights. This cannot be undone. If you only want to stop logging a tag, leave it in place and stop selecting it.
05Delete All Tags
Delete All Tags appears in two places. One is at the bottom of the Tags screen. The other is in Settings, reached from the avatar on Today, then You > Settings > Journal.
Confirming Delete removes every tag entry across all days, for system tags and custom tags alike. Journal Insights then has no history to compare. Your custom tag names and icons stay in the list, empty and ready to use again. This action cannot be undone.
06Auto tags
The Tags screen and You > Settings > Journal both list 14 auto-tag toggles, all on by default. They include Hard Workout (6.0+), Medium Workout (3.0 - 6.0), Light Workout (0.0 - 3.0), Late Workout, Sleep Performance, Sleep Quality, Target Exertion Exceeded, 2+ Hours Sunlight, Morning Sunlight, 10,000+ Steps, Menstrual Flow, Yoga, Stress, and Naps.
Titan saves your choice for each toggle. The current version of the app does not create any tags from your Health data, so every tag in your Journal is one you added by hand. Tag the day yourself to track any of these events. For help with a tag problem, use the contact page.
