Restore purchases

The two places to restore a Titan purchase, what the Subscription status card shows, and what to check when nothing comes back.

Published September 24, 2026

Restore brings back a subscription or lifetime unlock you already bought, such as after a reinstall or a new iPhone. You can restore from onboarding or from Settings. The Subscription screen in Settings tells you what Titan found.

01Restore during onboarding

The last onboarding step is the plans screen. Tap Restore Purchases, the underlined link below Continue Without Purchase. Titan asks the App Store to sync your purchases and then rechecks what you own. This screen shows no confirmation after a restore. Finish onboarding, then open the Subscription screen in Settings to see the result.

02Restore from Settings

Tap the avatar on Today, then You > Settings > About & Legal > Restore Purchases / Manage Subscription. Tap Restore Purchases. When the request finishes, one of two messages appears at the bottom of the screen.

  • "Restore request sent. If you have an active subscription, it should become available shortly."
  • "Unable to restore purchases. Please try again later."

The second message means the App Store sync failed. Check your connection and tap Restore Purchases again.

03What the status card shows

The Status card at the top of the Subscription screen shows one of three lines.

StatusMeaning
Lifetime unlockedTitan found a verified lifetime purchase. This line wins if you also have a subscription.
Subscription activeTitan found a verified auto-renewing subscription that is currently active.
No active subscription detectedTitan found neither.

Titan rechecks your purchases each time you open this screen and after every restore. Refresh on the Plans card runs the check again.

04If nothing restores

Restore can only return purchases made with the Apple Account that is signed in to the App Store on this iPhone. If you bought Titan with a different Apple Account, sign in to the App Store with that account and restore again.

A subscription that has expired or been canceled does not restore. Tap Manage Subscription to open Apple's subscription page and confirm whether the subscription is still active on this account.

With Ask to Buy in Family Sharing, a purchase shows "Purchase pending approval." Titan counts only completed purchases, so nothing unlocks until the family organizer approves the request. After approval, open the Subscription screen or tap Restore Purchases.

If the status still reads "No active subscription detected" after these checks, reach us through the contact page.
