Units, appearance and language

Every unit, appearance and language setting in Titan, with its options, its default, where to find it, and what it changes.

Published September 24, 2026

Two settings screens control how Titan displays numbers and charts. This reference lists each setting, its default and what it changes. None of them changes how a score is calculated.

To open Settings, tap your avatar on Today, then tap You > Settings. Both screens sit under the App Preferences group.

Unit and language preferences

Go to Settings > App Preferences > Unit and Language Preferences.

Use Metric System

On by default. On shows kilometers, kilograms, meters and meters per second. Off shows miles, pounds, feet and inches, and miles per hour. It applies to workout distance, weight and height on You, and the body weight chart in the Energy detail.

Weight fields in the strength set logger are always in kilograms, whatever this toggle says.

Use Kilojoules

Off by default, so energy shows in Calories. On multiplies each value by 4.184 and changes the label from Cal to kJ, on Today and in the Trends Energy chart. See energy dashboard for what those figures mean.

Hide Translations

Off by default, and also offered during onboarding under Coaching Labels. It hides the translation button for coaching text on iPhones set to a language other than English. The current version of Titan shows no such button, so the toggle has no visible effect yet.

Appearance

Go to Settings > App Preferences > Appearance. The screen that opens is titled Design Preferences.

The weekly cardio load chart shows minutes in Zones 2 to 5 as bars. Grouped puts the zones side by side. Stacked piles them into one bar per week.

Weekly Grouped draws the Trends Energy chart as weekly totals of active, basal, consumed and net energy. The first and last weeks can be partial. 60 Day Line draws the same four values as daily lines across the period you pick.

Hide Workout Suggestions matches the Hide toggle on the Workout Suggestions card. With either on, the card reads "Suggestions hidden."
