Where your data lives

Titan has no account and keeps your scores on your iPhone. See when it uses the network, what diagnostics contain, and what deleting the app removes.

Published September 24, 2026

Titan has no account and no sign-in. It reads your Apple Health data, calculates your scores on your iPhone, and stores the results on the phone. This article covers what Titan keeps, the two cases where it goes online, what a diagnostics file holds, and what happens when you delete the app.

01No account and no sign-in

Titan never asks for an email address or a password. There is no Titan server and no Titan user record. The name, photo, and goals you enter during setup stay on your iPhone. The app ships with no third-party analytics or crash reporting code.

02What stays on your iPhone

Titan reads Health data through Apple's HealthKit, limited to the categories you allow in iOS. The health permissions article covers those choices. Recovery, Sleep, Exertion, Stress, Battery, Titan Age, and every other score are calculated on the phone.

Titan saves its results in a database inside the app's own storage. That database holds daily metrics, daily scores, Titan Age history, journal tags, workout templates, logged strength sessions, and your data source choices. Your settings, such as units and notification choices, live on the phone too. The widgets read a small snapshot of your latest scores from storage the app shares with them on the same iPhone.

The Disclaimer screen states the same rule under Privacy First. HealthKit data is processed on the device and leaves it only when you choose to export or share it. You reach it from the avatar on Today, then You > Settings > About & Legal > Disclaimer.

03When Titan uses the network

Titan makes network requests in two cases. Nothing else in the app talks to a server.

App Store purchases

Purchases and restores go through Apple's StoreKit. Titan asks the App Store for the list of plans and checks which ones you own. Restore Purchases asks the App Store to sync your past transactions. Apple handles payment, and Titan never receives card details. See restore purchases for the steps.

Oura, only if you connect it

The Oura connection is off until you set it up at Settings > Health & Connected Apps > Data Sources & Integrations > Integrations > Oura. You paste an Oura personal access token, and Titan stores it in the iOS Keychain. Your iPhone then calls Oura's API directly with that token. No Titan server sits in between.

Titan contacts Oura at three moments only. You tap Connect Oura, you tap Sync Now, or you turn on Write Oura data to HealthKit. There is no background sync. Each sync downloads sleep, heart rate, workouts, daily activity, and sessions and writes them into Apple Health. The first sync covers the last 30 days. Later syncs start 7 days before the previous one. The requests only read from Oura. Titan sends Oura only your token and a date range. The Oura direct connection article walks through setup.

04What the diagnostics export contains

Export Diagnostics is at Settings > About & Legal > Help & Support, and also under You > Help & Feedback. Titan builds a JSON file named titansportdiagnostics with a timestamp and opens the iOS share sheet. The file goes nowhere until you pick a destination. It contains these fields.

  • App bundle ID, version, and build number
  • iOS version, region format, and time zone
  • Your settings for unit system, kilojoules, Hide Translations, the Recovery and Stress baseline windows, notifications, sleep tracker, sleep debt threshold, Rest Mode, training goal, number of workouts for training load, and custom maximum heart rate
  • Whether Health data is available on the device and the status of the permission request
  • Counts of stored daily metrics, daily scores, journal tag events, and connected integration accounts

The file holds no Health samples, no scores, and no name. The only number about your body is the custom maximum heart rate setting. See export diagnostics for how to send it to support.

05Deleting your data

Titan has no single control that erases everything. These settings remove or rebuild parts of it.

  • Settings > Journal > Delete All Tags removes every journal tag across all days.
  • Disconnect Oura on the Oura screen deletes the token from the Keychain and removes Oura as a source for every metric.
  • Settings > Health & Connected Apps > Resync & Troubleshooting clears saved score history and recalculates it from Apple Health.

Deleting the Titan app removes its database, settings, and widget snapshot from your iPhone. No copy exists anywhere else, so nothing can be restored. If you reinstall, Titan rebuilds your scores from the history in Apple Health. Journal tags, workout templates, and strength sessions you logged in Titan do not come back.

Your Apple Health data stays in Health after you delete Titan. That includes any Oura records Titan wrote there. The Health app lets you delete data by the app that wrote it, so you can remove those records separately. iOS can keep Keychain items after an app is deleted, so disconnect Oura before you delete Titan to remove the token.
