Activity in Titan Age

The five Activity rows in Titan Age, how to read the group total and each row, where steps, zone minutes, strength, and stand data come from, and what to check when one is missing.

Published September 26, 2026

Activity shows how everyday movement and recorded training contribute to Titan Age. Its five rows cover steps, time on your feet, aerobic work, higher-intensity work, and strength training across the last completed week, Monday through Sunday. Together they carry 35% of the model.

015 activity contributors

Weekly Steps carries 9%. Titan totals your steps for the week and needs 4 days with a value. See steps for how Titan counts them.

Zone 2 Minutes carries 8%. Titan totals the time your heart rate spent in Zone 2. One day of recorded data meets the coverage minimum, including a recorded zero.

Zone 4+ Minutes carries 8%. Titan totals the time in Zones 4 and 5 together. One day of recorded data meets the coverage minimum. See heart rate zones for how the zones are set from your max heart rate.

Strength Training carries 5%. Titan totals the minutes of strength workouts. One day of recorded data meets the coverage minimum.

Stand Hours carries 5%. Titan averages your daily stand hours and needs 4 days with a value.

02Contributions in years

The Activity total shows how many years its five contributors add to or subtract from Titan Age together. A negative total lowers your estimate. A positive total raises it. Each contributor also shows its own effect in years, so you can see which measurements are lowering or raising your Titan Age.

Tap a row to see its neutral reference value. A missing row also shows the value Titan counted in its place. Weekly totals are scaled up to a full week from the days recorded, and a week with fewer than 3 recorded days is treated as 3. Row percentages are rounded, so they may not add exactly to 35%.

03How missing data is handled

Coverage is the share of the model your week recorded. Weekly Steps and Stand Hours need 4 days. The zone and strength rows count from a single day. A row that falls short counts as missing, and Titan fills it from the median of your recorded weeks from the past 26 once you have 6, or from the reference value, which adds zero years. Calculation details on the Titan Age screen lists the days of coverage for every row.

04Activity data sources

Steps and stand hours come from Apple Health. Zone minutes come from your heart rate during workouts, sorted into zones by your max heart rate. Strength minutes come from workouts recorded with a strength type. See the Workouts screen for how Titan reads workouts from Health.

Titan's own Exertion score and Titan Age both use your workouts, and each has its own calculation.

05Find missing activity data

Begin with Set up Apple Health for Titan. Then check these in order.

  1. Confirm that Health shows steps, stand hours, and workouts for the week.
  2. Open Health permissions for Titan and confirm Steps, Stand Hours, Heart Rate, and Workouts are on. See Health permissions.
  3. Record workouts with your watch so Health stores heart rate for them. Zone rows need heart rate during the workout.
  4. Set the workout type when you start, so strength sessions are labeled as strength.
  5. Wait for the week to close. Titan Age updates after Sunday ends.

If the whole card is blank, see Titan Age missing or not updating.
