Apple Health connects the measurements from your watch, tracker, and other apps to Titan. A quick setup check helps you get useful sleep, recovery, and training insights from the data you already record. If Health already contains recent readings and Titan shows your scores, you can use this guide whenever you add a device or notice a gap.
01Data Titan needs
For the core daily views, begin with a tracker that records sleep, heart rate variability, and resting heart rate to Health. Record workouts with heart rate to build your training picture.
| Titan view | Data to check in Apple Health |
|---|---|
| Recovery | Heart Rate Variability and Resting Heart Rate |
| Sleep | Recorded sleep sessions from your chosen tracker |
| Workouts and Exertion | Workouts and Heart Rate |
| Steps | Steps |
| Titan Age | Date of birth in your Health profile, plus the available weekly sleep, activity, and fitness signals |
You can build your history with the measurements your device supports. Cardio Fitness and body composition add further detail to Titan Age. These measurements are optional.
02Set up your Health profile
Titan Age starts from your actual age, and Titan reads it from the date of birth in Health. Open Health, tap Summary, then your profile picture, then Health Details. Tap Edit, fill in your date of birth and any other details you want, and tap Done. Apple describes the same steps in Set up your Health Details.
Height, weight, and body fat percentage are optional. Titan uses them for the lean mass index in Titan Age. Enter only values you have measured.
03Check your connected devices and apps
Health shows which apps and devices contribute each measurement. Open Health, tap Browse, choose a category, then a measurement, and tap Data Sources & Access. Check the measurement page for recent data. For Apple Watch, open your profile, tap Devices, then your Apple Watch, then Privacy Settings, and confirm Fitness Tracking is on. Apple covers these screens in Manage health data and sources.
Third-party apps sometimes need a setting inside their own app to write data to Health. Health's source list does not decide which source Titan picks for a metric. See data sources and choosing your sleep source.
04Give Titan Health access
A source must write the data to Health, and Titan must have permission to read it.
In Health, tap your profile picture, then under Privacy tap Apps, then Titan. Turn on the categories behind the views you want. Health permissions lists what each category powers. You can also reach this from Titan. Tap the avatar on Today, then You > Settings > Health & Connected Apps > Health Permissions.
05Enable sleep tracking
If sleep tracking is new to you, open Health and tap Get Started under Set Up Sleep. Follow the prompts and enable Track Sleep with Apple Watch. If Sleep is already set up, open the Watch app on iPhone, choose My Watch > Sleep, and check Track Sleep with Apple Watch. Wear the watch to bed and charge it beforehand. Apple's sleep setup guide explains the available options.
A Sleep Focus or a schedule alone does not record sleep. With another tracker, make sure it writes sleep to Health, then pick it in Titan at Settings > Recovery & Sleep > Sleep Tracker.
06Add cardio fitness data
Cardio Fitness adds VO2 Max to the Fitness group. Apple Watch estimates it from outdoor walks, runs, and hikes, and the first estimate can take several workouts. Indoor sessions do not count for it. In Health, tap Browse, then Heart, then Cardio Fitness to see it. Apple explains this in About cardio fitness. You do not need an intense workout to get a reading.
07Check your data in Titan
Open Titan and pull down on Today to refresh. Existing Health history can fill in right away. New recording takes time. Titan Age counts completed Monday to Sunday weeks, so it updates after a week closes. For how long a specific score takes to settle, see baselines.
08Find missing data
- The data is absent in Health. Check the device or source that should write it, and its Data Sources & Access entry.
- The data is in Health but absent in Titan. Check the Titan permission for that category and your source choice in Titan. See data sources.
- Titan Age is blank. Confirm your date of birth and wait for a completed week, then see Titan Age missing or not updating.
