Titan opens to the Today screen, and every score in the app starts from a card on it. There is no tab bar. This article walks through the cards in order, the calendar for past days, pull to refresh, and how to reach the You screen and Settings.
01How the screen is laid out
Tap a card and its detail opens as a sheet at full height. Drag it down to half height, or tap the close button to return to Today. Every detail sheet has a question mark button in the top right corner that opens the in-app help page for that metric.
The top bar holds two buttons. Your profile photo sits on the left and opens the You screen. If you have not added a photo, a person icon takes its place. The calendar icon on the right opens the calendar.
02The cards in order
The cards always appear in this order.
- Titan Age shows your estimate to one decimal place for the last completed week, with the week's dates under the title. The arrow compares Titan Age with your actual age. See Titan Age.
- Recovery shows your score from 0 to 100 in a ring. See how the Recovery score works.
- Sleep shows last night's score from 0 to 100 in a ring. See how the Sleep score works.
- Exertion shows your score on a 0 to 10 scale, and the ring marks your target range. See Exertion score and Exertion target.
- Net Energy shows your net calories for the day, in kcal or kJ depending on your unit setting. See Net Energy.
- Steps shows your count against your daily goal, written as 8.2k / 10k. See steps and your step goal.
- HRV, RHR, RR and SpO₂ are four tiles for HRV, resting heart rate, respiratory rate and blood oxygen. Each marks your latest reading against your usual range, and tapping one opens Vitals. See Vitals.
- Stress shows your day score on a 0 to 100 scale. See Stress score.
- Battery shows your energy level now as a percent, with your 7-day average. See Battery.
- Heart Rate Zones shows the time your workouts spent in each zone today. See heart rate zones.
- Trends shows your current training load ratio to two decimals, with an arrow when it moved since the previous day. See Trends and training load.
- Workouts shows how many workouts you have logged this week, with an arrow comparing it to last week. See Workouts.
The four rings and the four vitals tiles each sit in a two-column grid, which drops to one column at accessibility text sizes. Recovery, Sleep, Exertion, Net Energy, Steps, Stress, Trends and Workouts each carry a 7-day trend line.
A few cards appear only when they have something to say. A Health access banner sits at the very top when Titan cannot read your data. Tap it for the steps to restore access, or read Health access needed. A zone update card appears when Titan recalculates your heart rate zones.
When a card has no value, tapping it explains why. For example, Recovery reads "Building your baseline" until it has enough measured nights.
03Looking at past days
Tap the calendar icon to open the calendar. A row of buttons at the top picks Recovery, Exertion, Sleep, Stress, Battery or Net Energy. Each day shows a small ring filled to that day's value. The info button at the bottom opens a key that explains each band for the metric you picked.
The calendar opens on the current month, with weeks starting on Monday, and reaches back 12 months. Tap any past day and Today reloads every card for that date. Future days are dimmed and cannot be selected.
To get back to the current day, open the calendar and tap Today. Today also snaps back to the current date when you reopen the app or return from the You screen.
04Pull to refresh
Pull down on Today to reload every card for the date you are viewing. A pill at the top reads Updating while Titan reads Apple Health, then Up to date for 5 seconds. The last line of the screen shows the time of the most recent update, such as Updated at 07:42:10 GMT-7. Titan also checks for new data when you open the app, so you rarely need to pull.
05The You screen and Settings
Tap your profile photo to open You. The screen holds your profile card, Your Training with sessions in the last 7 days against your weekly session target, Your Fitness with VO₂ max and your HRV and resting heart rate baselines, Body & Measurements, and Your Year with this year's workout count. Links to How Titan Works, Latest Updates and Help & Feedback sit below them. Tap the profile card to edit your details and daily targets. See your profile.
Settings lives on the You screen. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner of You. The bell icon next to it opens notification settings. Every settings path in these articles starts from the avatar on Today, then the gear on You.
